With the weather turning it the heat up it was time for the Athletes to follow suit. A healthy dedicated team of close to 40 athletes represented St Andrews at the PDSSSC Athletics Carnival on Wednesday the 17th of August.
We started well with Tyler Anderson securing 2nd in the under 13 boys javelin. This was quickly matched with the Junior Boys Relay Team winning their race and progressing through to the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges level. As the day went on our competitors continued to try their best and exceeded expectations.
The following students progressed to the next level where they will compete at Homebush Olympic Stadium on the 16th of September.

As per usual the behaviour of the students was outstanding and they are a credit to themselves and the College.
Thank you to the Year 11 helpers and Mrs Nicole Lovern and Mr Garry Boardman for their assistance on the day. I encourage all students to take a leaf out of these students’ book and do your best in all areas of schooling life.
