YCS Movie Night @ SAC

The YCS first major leadership event proved to be triumphant as our Movie Night on Friday, 21 November, was an overwhelming success. With a total number of 60 people in attendance including students from Loyola, Nagle, St Andrews as well as representatives from Holy Trinity Parish, we gathered together to celebrate the past leaders of YCS.

With the theme of Moving on and New Beginnings, we all reflected on our journeys so far and shared with each other our very own aspirations in life.

The night kicked off with snacks and chats, and as a result of public choice, we watched the delightful comedy, Evan Almighty. Whilst digging into pizza, our other YCS local groups were able to meet and establish relationships with our new leadership team.

The night was full of fun, happiness and laughter as our past leaders begin the next chapter of their lives. The atmosphere was joyful and reflective as under one roof and under one faith we were able to farewell our predecessors in our YCS family.

The event would not have been possible without the dedication of Mr Kolek, Mrs Melki, the YCS@SAC leadership team along with the PYCS workers.

St Andrews College looks forward to hosting many more events in the future as we demonstrate unity and gather together as Young Christian Students.

May the graduated leaders of YCS continue taking steps towards new beginnings and be blessed as they embark on their new journeys in life.
