Monday the 12th of March, Year 7 set off to Collaroy for their first high school camp. The camp was an opportunity for the group to meet new people within their grade and develop stronger connections with their peers. Students got involved and completed a variety of challenging outdoor activities such as kayaking, drop pole, archery, giant swing, lazer tag, flying fox and beach games. Many students faced their fears (in particular, heights!) and developed such confidence which was great to see.
After dinner, students participated in a reflection about “Gratitude” after which was followed by a disco with our amazing DJ’s. Students are to be commended on their overall participation and behaviour for the entire trip. They truly represented the College in high esteem and made the staff extremely proud.
Well done Year 7!
